Prof. Amitava Roy, former Professor of English Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata Inaugurated the Seminar by lightning the lamp along with Prof. J.N. Patnaik, Prof. Subir Dhar, Prof. Bijay Kumar Das and Prof. Ashok K. Mohanty. Dr. Ipsita Nayak, KIIT University read out the proceedings on the last National Conference on "Rethinking Mahatma Gandhi: The Statesman, The Writer & Gandhian Writings in Indian Literature" held on 15-16 June 2019, at Hotel Akbari, Cuttack. Prof. Bijay Kumar Das introduced the theme of the seminar. Prof. Amitava Roy spoke under the caption "How many Nationalisms?". Dr. Santosh Kumar Padhi proposed a vote of thanks. Dr. Sonali Das compered the programme.

Professor Subir Dhar (RBU, Kolkata), Prof. Sabita Tripathy (Sambalpur University, Sambalpur) delivered plenary lectures and Prof. J.N. Patnaik chaired the session. Prof. Bijay Kumar Das delivered a plenary lecture and Prof. Amitava Roy chaired the session.

Prof. Ashok K. Mohanty, Dr. Sonali Das, Ms. Pratima Das (Kolkata), Dr. Bilkesh Parveen, Mr. Laxmidhar Panda, Dr. Ujjwal Dutta (W.B.), Ms. Prativa Panda, Ms. N. Summan Shelly, Ms. Subhadarshini Mohapatra, Ms. Sucheta Himadree Tanya, Dr. Braja Kishore Sahoo presented papers in various sessions. Prof. Subir Dhar, Prof. Sabita Tripathy, Prof. Satya Sindhu Ghosh, chaired different paper reading session.

An open Forum on "The interaction between Mahatma Gandhi and Utkalmani Gopabandhu Das" was conducted by Prof. Bijay Kumar Das.

In Valedictory session Prof. Subir Dhar and Prof. Sabita Tripathy gave away the participation certificates. Mr. Umesh Chandra Nayak gave his views as a participant's response to the seminar. Dr. Pravat Kumar Mishra proposed a Vote of Thanks.
