"THIRTEEN CANONICAL WORLD WRITES IN ENGLISH TRANSLATION & COVID - 19 POEMS”

Professor C.R.V RAO, formar Vice Chancellor, Vikram Simhapuri University, Nellore (Andhra Pradesh) launched the Souvenir on Thirteen Canonical World Writers in English Translations & COVID-19 Poemss on 4 October 2020 at 11AM in the presence of Professors of Emminence like R.W. Desai (Delhi University), Rajnath (Allahbad University), C.T. Indra (Madras University), Prashant K. Sinha (Pune University), B.N. Patnaik (IIT Kanpur), B. Parvati (Andhra University), C.N. Srinath (Director, Dhvanyaloka), Sabita Tripathy (Sambalpur Uiversity), Kalidas Mishra (Sambalpur University), P. Balaswamy (Pondicheri University), Ashok Kumar Mohanty (SOA University, Bhubaneswar) and 40 other participants from all over the country. At the outset Prof. Bijay Kumar Das, the President of the Researchers' Association of Odisha accorded a warm welcome to the webinar participants and highlighted the activities of the Researchers' Association of Odisha in the last 26 years since it came into being in 1995.

After Prof. C.R.V Rao launched the Souvenir participants interacted with him. It is heartening to know the response of distinguished Professors such as Prof. R.W. Desai, Prof. Rajnath, Prof. Balaswamy, Prof. C.T. Indra and many others. Dr. Sonali Das, Associate Professor of English, Fakir Mohan University, Balasore organised the programme.

Dr. Bhagaban Jaisingh, Dr. Rajendra Kumar, Dr. Satyasindhu Ghosh, Dr. Ujjwal Dutta, Dr. Dillip K. Das, Dr. Aloka Patel, Dr. Rima Ghosh, Dr. Braja Kishore Sahoo, Ms Moumita Mitra, Ms Bidisha Goswami, Ms Shilipi Basak, Ms N. Suman Selly and Executive Members Dr. Bilkesh Parveen, Dr. Braja Kishore Pall and Dr. Jnan Ranjan Padhi were notable presences on this ocassion. Dr. Jnan Ranjan Padhi, Associate Professor of English, Jawaharlal Neheru College, Pasighat (Arunanchal Pradesh) proposed a vote of thanks.

The Souvenir was compiled and edited by Professor Bijay Kumar Das with a beautiful cover design and photos of 13 World Writes in English Translation along with 8 beautiful photos of the past events of the Researchers' Association of Odisha.
