Professor C.D. Narasimhaiah Memorial Award for 2022

Professor Bijay Kumar Das, the President of the Researchers' Association, Odisha was invited by the Director Dhvanyaloka, Mysore to deliver Professor C.D.Narasimhaiah Memorial Lecture for the year 2022 on 12 April 2022. Accepting the invitation Professor Das went to Dhvanyaloka, Mysore, and delivered the Memorial Lecture under the caption, "Rethinking Sitayana: A Transplant from The Ramayana". Professor K.R.S.Iyengar 's "Sitayana", is a unique epic running into 5995 lines to vindicate Sita's life. Professor Das's lecture was distributed in the form of a Booklet among the audience.

The Highlight of the evening function was the conferment of the CDN Memorial Award for 2022 on Professor Das by the Director of Dhvanyaloka, Professor C.N.Srinath for his contribution to teaching, research, publication, editing of Research Journals including "The Indian Journal of English Studies" (2007-2009) and "The Critical Endeavour" (1995-till date) and above all, for organizing more than 125 National Seminars.
