At Hotel Akbari, Cuttack.

Professor Rupin W. Desai, former Professor of English, Delhi University, Delhi, inaugurated the National Seminar on 12 Jnaury 2020 by lighting the lamp at Hotel Akbari, Cuttack at 10:30 am. Professor Shorosimohan Das, former Vice Chancellor, Burdwan University, West Bengal and Professor C.R. Visweswara Rao, former Vice Chancellor, Vikram Simhapuri University, Nellore (AP) joined Professor Desai in lighting the lamp in the presence of Professor Bijay Kumar Das, former Professor of English, Burdwan University and the President of The Researchers' Association, Odisha. The post Silver Jubilee Issue of The Critical Endeavour, Vol. 26, January 2020 was jointly launched by Prof. Desai, Dr. Dan and Prof. C.R.V. Rao.

Prof. C.R.V Rao delivered the keynote address in which he spoke about Jacques Derrida and Deconstruction. Professor Bijay Kumar Das delivered his plenary lecture under the caption "The Identity of Criticism: The Case of Roland Barthes, Jaques Derrida and Edward Said" which was distributed in the form of a booklet.

Dr. Krushna Chandra Mishra, Head of the Dept. of English, Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh, Dr. Laxmidhar Panda, former Principal, Nimapara College, Dr. Dolan Ray, Chetna Chandidas Mahavidyalaya (WB), Dr. Rajendra Kumar, Govt. PG College, Mirzapur (UP), Dr. santosh Kumar Padhy, Dr. Ranjit Kumar Pati, Ms. Suchheta Himadree Tanaya, Ms. M. Aishvary and Dr. Mamata Dey presented their paper in different sessions.

Prof. R.W. Desai, Prof. C.R.V. Rao, Prof. Bijay Kumar Das, Prof. Sabita Tripathy, Dr. Janan Ranjan Padhi and Dr. Satya Sindhu Ghosh chaired different sessions. Dr. Ujjwal Dutta, Dr. Santosh Kumar Padhy, Dr. Manmohan Mishra, Dr. Arta Panigrahi and Mr. Bata Krushna Das proposed a vote of thanks in different sessions.

Dr. Dolan Ray, Dr. Leena Patnaik and Dr. Ujjwal Dutta introduced the guests and Dr. Bilkesh Parveen read out the proceedings of last seminar. Dr. Leena Patnaik was felicitated on getting her PhD Degree by Prof. R.W. Desai.

Prof. B.N. Patnaik spoke in the veledictory session and Dr. Shorosimohan Dan gave away the participation certificates. Dr. Pravat Kumar Mishra proposed a vote of thanks and Dr. Sonali Das compered the programme.
