Proceedings of the One Day National Seminar on "Trends in Twenty-first century Indian English Literature: At Home and Abroad" held on 16 April 2023 at Hotel Akbari, Cuttack. Registration for the seminar was done by Dr. Pravat Mishra, Dr. Pemalata Rout, and Dr. Chintamani Bharati. at 9 a.m. The Book Exhibition and Photo Exhibition were organised by Dr. Pravat Mishra, Dr. Premalata Rout, Dr. Sonali Das, and Dr. Chintamani Bharati.

At the Inaugural Session at 10:30 A.M, Professor Bijay Kumar Das, the President of the Association delivered the Welcome Address. Professor Susheel Sharma, University of Allahabad, and other Guests Lighted the lamp. Guests were introduced by Dr. Sonali Das and Dr. Premalata Rout. Mr. Braja Kishore Pall read out the proceedings of the last Seminar held on 15 January 2023.

Two Plenary lectures were delivered at the Seminar by Prof. Susheel Sharma, and Dr Sonali Das, Associate Professor of English, F. M University, Balasore on the topics such as" Igniting Indian Minds; the Kalam Way" and "Mahatma Gandhi on and in Cinema "respectively. Mr. Laxmidhar Panda, Mr. Braja Kishore Pall, Dr. Premalata Rout, Dr. Kabita Kumari Das, Ms. Rituparna Maharana, Ms. Debi Prabha Hati, Ms. Nabanita Mahapatra, Ms. Snehalata Sahoo, Dr. Pradeep Kumar presented their papers in different sessions. Prof Ashok Kumar Mohanty and Mr. Laxmidhar Panda chaired the paper Reading Sessions.

Professor Bijay Kumar Das delivered a Lecture on Salman Rushdie's recent novel" Victory City" under the caption" Words are the only Victors; Critiquing Salman Rushdie's Victory City' Professor Bijay Kumar Das also conducted a Workshop on" Founding Fathers of Indian English Fiction; Anand, Narayan and Rao" which elicited a warm response from the participants. Prof. Susheel Sharma answered questions on his book of poems,' Unwinding Self" in the light of Dr. Pradee Kumar's Paper. All the papers presented at the seminar were well received as the questions that followed indicated, In the end, participation certificates were given away to the participants. followed by a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Pravat Kumar Mishra.
